January's weather provided a robust field test for the slick chambers that Alex has built for our tile metabolism measurements. The good news is that we got some very nice data, despite low water temperatures and hardly any light! Alex is making some improvements to the stirrers before the start of actual measurements in March 2011.

January 2011 - Shake-down for Alex's chambers
January's weather provided a robust field test for the slick chambers that Alex has built for our tile metabolism measurements. The good news is that we got some very nice data, despite low water temperatures and hardly any light!
